What I do:
I work with fast-growing clients of all sizes, from small startups to successful public companies, as general outside corporate counsel. The common threads running through the companies I work with are super-smart management teams, fast growth, disruptive business models and technology innovation. My areas of focus include corporate formation, venture capital financings, public offerings, corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions.

When I’m not being a Cooley lawyer:
These days I am trying to spend as much time as I can with my three teenagers, Anna, Nathan and Andrew, before they all leave the nest for good. Other than that, my pursuits tend to combine my right-brain artistic skills with my left-brain project management skills. I sing with and serve on the board of a 50-voice women’s chorus called WomenSing (www.womensing.org). I spend a lot of time designing and making custom items of clothing. I also love to cook extravagant meals for friends and family.
